FLU SEASON HOME REMEDIES!!

I had a conversation with a co-worker of mine few years ago. It was a pretty bad winter in Philadelphia, and you know how it goes when you're working in a small office with cubicles. The first person comes in sick, probably because they're dedicated to their work, or they simply have to work. So, I never give out names when I'm telling these stories because it's not about the person in the subject but mostly about my message that I want to get across to the person that I'm speaking with at that moment. This poor guy came into work, and he looked pretty bad in my opinion. He was sneezing really bad and could barely work. He was in a terrible mood that day! I felt really bad for him as I sat behind his desk observing him and noticing how bad the cold was. My next thought was "oh shoot, I have a new baby at home, I should recommend something that would help him"- and help us all in the office :).

So, if you know me, I started a conversation with him and I begin to ask him about how he was feeling- knowing very well he looked terrible. I just felt bad for him, really, I did. His face was turning red and nose as well. The owner of the office quickly brought each of us disinfectant wipes to keep our area clean of the germs. As I started to ask about how he was feeling, he sneezed right in front of me. Oh boy, I was terrified. So, I told him that the only way that he would get rid of the cold quickly is to act quickly. I told him that he needs to wash his sheets every day and he immediately said no to my suggestion, but I was worried about my health as well. As if he asked me what my opinion were, I then said, "well, if you don't want to wash them every day then you should use a disinfectant spray every night before bed." 

He didn't respond but shrugged his shoulders in agreeance of what I was saying. As I always say, these writings are based on my experiences coming from a mother of many minions. He came back the next day and told me that he did exactly what I told him to do and thank God it worked. This is something I do regularly with my family, and I hope you try it sometime. I don't have a particular brand because I'm usually on a budget, but I still use it regularly during the Winter/Flu Season!! This reminds me of when Trump said that everyone should drink disinfectant during the Corona Pandemic-just some dry humor for ya!
